CEE interface list contents
{ Status—Operational status of the CEE interface. Options include the following:
− Unmanaged—The CEE interface is not under management of the IMC Platform.
− Unknown—The IMC Platform cannot obtain the status of the CEE interface.
− Disabled—The CEE interface is disabled by the operator.
− Up—The CEE interface works correctly.
− Down—The CEE interface is enabled, but the link status is down.
{ Name—Type and number of the CEE interface.
{ VFC interface—Name of the VFC interface bound to the CEE interface.
{ MAC—MAC address of the CEE interface.
{ Speed (bps)—Link bandwidth negotiated by the CEE interface with the peer.
{ DCBX—Includes the following icons:
− The first icon indicates whether the interface DCBX parameters in VFM have been
deployed to the CEE interface. The icon indicates yes, and the icon indicates no.
− The second icon indicates whether the interface DCBX parameters in VFM and on the
FCoE switch are consistent. The icon indicates yes, and the icon indicates no. The
icon is also a link that you can click to view the interface DCBX parameters in VFM and on
the FCoE switch (see "Viewing and comparing the interface DCBX parameters on a CEE
inter
face and in VFM").
− The third icon is a link that you can click to enter the page for configuring the interface
DCBX parameters (see "Configuring DCBX parameters in VFM for a single CEE
in
terface").
Querying CEE interfaces
1. On the upper right corner of the CEE interface list, enter a partial or complete CEE interface name
in the query control , and click to display all CEE interfaces that match the
entered name.
Alternatively:
1. Click the Advanced icon to expand the query area, and specify one or more of the following
query criteria:
{ Name—Enter a partial or complete CEE interface name, including the interface type and
interface number.
{ Status—Select an operational state from the list. Options include All, Unmanaged, Unknown,
Up, Down, and Disabled.
{ MAC—Enter the a partial or complete CEE interface MAC address.
Empty fields are ignored.
2. Click Query to display all CEE interfaces that match the query criteria.
Synchronizing CEE interfaces
VFM does not separately synchronize VFC interfaces and their configurations. It synchronizes VFC
interface information when synchronizing FCoE switches. For information about synchronizing FCoE
switches, see "Synchronizing FCoE switches".
