2. From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > Locating Management.
The Locating Management page appears.
3. In the Wireless Locating Based on iNode Sampling Points area, click the Client Historical Track
link.
The Client Historical Track page appears, displaying all locations the located clients have
stayed.
4. Click the Dynamic Display icon in the Client Historical Track column for the target client.
The location view topology appears, and the sampling point associated with the iNode client is
highlighted on the topology.
5. On the toolbar, click the Dynamic Display icon to demonstrate dynamically the locations
where an iNode client has stayed.
Alternatively, you can demonstrate dynamically the client historical tracks for an iNode client:
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > View Management > Location Views.
The Location List page appears.
3. Click the View Topology icon for the location view.
The location view topology page appears, displaying all sub-location views, fit APs and fat APs.
4. Right-click on a blank area and, from the shortcut menu, select Show iNode Clients.
The Showing iNode Clients Configuration dialog box appears.
5. Enter client name or MAC address to query the iNode clients, and select the iNode clients you
want to locate.
6. Click OK.
The selected iNode clients are located and highlighted on the topology.
7. Right-click the icon of a located iNode client, and, from the shortcut menu, select Location
History Dynamic Demonstrate.
8. Click the Dynamic Display icon on the toolbar to demonstrate dynamically the locations
where the iNode client has stayed.
Configuring area access policies
In a location view, you can set access policies for an area to permit or deny the concerned users in a
concerned client group. Area access policies take effect on only concerned users that use iNode
clients to access the wireless network.
Area access policies include the following types:
Admittance type—Used in the scenario where concerned users are requesting to access the
wireless network. Options are:
{ Prohibit—Denies access requests of concerned users.
{ Permit—Permits access requests of the specified concerned users. Other concerned users are
denied to access the wireless network.
Measures when violating rules—Used in the scenario where concerned users that have been
connected to the wireless network migrate from the areas that permit access to the areas that
deny access. Options are:
