{ MAC Address—Enter the MAC address of the iNode client. WSM supports fuzzy matching
for this field.
{ Username—Enter the name of the access user. The user name configured in IMC can be
different from the account name. WSM supports fuzzy matching for this field.
{ Account Name—Enter the account name of the access user. WSM supports fuzzy matching
for this field.
{ Location—Enter the name of the location view. WSM supports fuzzy matching for this field.
{ Concerned Client Groups—Select the concerned client group containing the monitoring
iNode client. Options are All and the concerned client groups available for WSM.
An empty field does not serve as a query criterion.
5. Click Query. The Monitoring Clients list displays all monitoring clients matching the query
criteria.
Click Reset to clear the query criteria, and display all monitoring clients in the Monitoring
Clients list.
Setting clients as sampling clients
This function enables you to set a monitoring client as a sampling client.
To set monitoring clients as sampling clients:
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > Locating Management.
The Locating Management page appears.
3. In the Wireless Locating Based on iNode Sampling Points area, click the Monitoring Clients link.
The Monitoring Clients page appears, displaying all iNode clients monitored.
4. Select the iNode clients you want or do not want to set as sampling clients.
5. Click Set as Sample MAC to set the selected iNode clients as sampling clients.
Click Undo Set as Sample to clear the selected iNode clients as sampling clients.
Managing sampling points
Manage sampling points in a location view.
Adding a sampling point
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > View Management > Location Views.
The Location List page appears.
3. Click the View Topology icon for the location view.
The location view topology page appears, displaying all sub-location views, fit APs and fat APs.
4. Right-click on a blank area, and, from the shortcut menu, select Sampling Points Management >
Client Sampling.
You are in client sampling mode.
5. Right-click on a blank area, and, from the shortcut menu, select Add Sampling Point.
A gray block that represents a sampling point appears in the upper left corner of the page.
