Overview

Warranty and other service benefits start from the date of purchase, so it is important to register your

product quickly to ensure you get full use of the warranty and other service benefits available to you.

To avoid security risks, H3C recommends you register your IPS and update the signature and virus

definition databases before you put the IPS on the network.

IMPORTANT:

• Register your IPS device license within 6 months after the product delivery. The license key expires at the

end of 6 months.

• The term of signature and virus definition database update service

is 1 year from the date of re

istration

with an entitled website. To use the service after the service term expires, you must purchase a new

software license.
