Introduction to CLI
The command line interface (CLI) is the interaction interface between a user and the device. Through
the CLI, you can enter commands to configure the device, and view the output information to verify your
configurations.
The CLI provides the following features for you to configure and manage your devices:
z Easy access to online help by entering a question mark (?).
z Abundant debugging information for fault diagnosis.
z Command history for viewing and recalling commands.
z Support for partial keywords. When entering a command, you can enter the initial characters of a
keyword. The system will recognize and execute the keyword correctly. For example, to enter the
display interface command, you can input dis int.
CLI Online Help
The CLI provides two types of online help:
z Full help
z Partial help
To obtain online help, you can:
