Deploying the VFE

To deploy the VFE, the server administrator must use the VMware plug-in, which is registered on the

vCenter Server when the VCE is deployed.

To deploy the VFE:

1. Select Home > Inventory > Hosts and Clusters.

2. Select Datacenter.

3. Click the HP VDS Management tab. HP is the plug-in name you set when you deploy the HP

5900v.

4. Click VFE Configuration in the VFE(Virtual Forwarding Engine) area.
